something good that came out of quarantine times
THE ORIGIN
STORY
I fully believe the you don't need a huge budget or professional design skills to create a brand you love.
During quarantine circa 2020 everything changed for me. I left my full-time design job to stay home with my three young boys.
One of my clients made a comment that stuck with me: not everyone has the budget for top-tier branding, but I could show them how to do it themselves in Canva. That’s when I started posting Canva tutorials on Instagram—and things took off from there!
It became the foundation of my business, and since then, I’ve helped countless entrepreneurs build branding they’re proud to show off without the need for a massive budget or any professional design skills.
I feel lucky that I can relate so deeply with my clients and students—since I previously ran and scaled several of my own businesses along with working in both nonprofit and corporate fields. Once upon a previous life, I started and ran an online children’s shop where I designed patterns and fabrics for the clothes I sold.
After that, I worked as a designer at a 7-figure online membership company for boutique owners. This role gave me a deeper understanding of what it takes to grow a business from the ground up. I also became StoryBrand certified, which helped me further develop my skills in brand strategy and communication.
Now, as a mom and a business owner, balance is everything to me. I’m passionate about helping like-minded female entrepreneurs cut through the overwhelm so they can focus on what they love most. For me, that means spending time on the sidelines of the lacrosse field with my husband, watching our boys play—and when I have a moment, catching up on anything Bravo.
